The EV Kia Ray-speed automatic offers the driver to choose between two modes, while leading to 'D'.
'E' (or 'green') mode maximizes torque output of the battery consumption of the motor to a broad minimum and maximum is reached. "B" (or "brake") can be selected when driving downhill to maximize on the highways and mountain roads to the performance of the brakes.

With the same distinctive exterior design that Cousin gasoline, EV Kia Ray has four small points of difference.
A band of the grille covers taking a 220V AC power to slow charging mode, another entry (for the loading time in fast mode) in the same position as the throttle response of the normal structure, a special sticker for each of them is mounted carries a message announced "zero emission EV" and super-smooth alloy wheels 14 inches to improve the aerodynamic performance, which minimizes friction.

Inside, the Kia Ray EV shows a single dashboard and electric motor, battery status and the distance to refuel.

On-board charger, inverter, high-low-voltage converter and EV-specific VCU (Vehicle Control Unit) of each progress films on previous device.

EV Kia Ray is a new type of regenerative braking system with hydraulic booster assets using the electric motor instead of a gasoline engine equipped in the standard model, to create the hydraulic pressure of the brake system.
The result is the pedal force composed of a wide range of driving conditions and the ability to collect the excess energy and use it to recharge the battery.

Contrary to conventional gasoline vehicles produced EV Kia Ray no engine noise, which can be a potential problem with the car approaching unsuspecting pedestrians.
To avoid accidents, EV Kia Ray has a Vess (Virtual Sound System Engine). If at speeds below 20 kph (12 mph), this system offers a mixture of gasoline recorded sounds will play even if the parking lot.

Japan and the United States are already considering the introduction of legal requirements for electric vehicles to a virtual machine for the sound, and Kia has taken the first step to commercialize this system in order to anticipate global trends in the

Kia Sorento Review

The Kia Sorento front passenger air bag may be turned off when an adult is in the passenger seat. The vehicle's occupant classification system (OCS), which classifies the occupant in the front passenger seat, may misclassify an adult passenger as a child or child seat and improperly turn off the passenger side air bag. Consequence: The passenger side air bag is turned off when the OCS misclassifies an adult passenger.

A recall has been issued for model year 2007 and 2008 Kia Sorento SUVs for a possible malfunction in passenger side airbag Occupant Classification System (OCS).
Kia will update the OCS programming free of charge.
The problem: Faulty programming may incorrectly deactivate the front passenger airbag for adult riders.

The issue affects the Occupant Classification System (OCS) installed in 2007 and 2008 model year Sorento SUVs manufactured from June 2006 through September 2007

The present model also offers a usable third-row seat, standard four-cylinder power with a V6 option, and Kia's extensive warranty package.
